Teste em um programa de TV / A test in a TV show

  Em um dia que não esperava nada, eis que recebo uma mensagem da prima coruja. Ela me pede o celular para receber uma ligação para participar de uma matéria para um programa de TV. Segundo ela, era para o namorado dela ir, mas neste dia teria um compromisso; então ela sugeriu que eu fosse no lugar. Achei a idéia um tanto inusitada - afinal, eu não costumo assistir este programa - que eu topei na hora!

  A moça por telefone foi super receptiva e combinamos de que eu fosse à emissora no dia seguinte após o expediente de trabalho. Eu só sabia que eles queriam um nerd para gravar um reality show e para isso estavam realizando testes. Fiquei curioso e ansioso para saber o que iria rolar nessa parada. Ao chegar no local com o táxi bancado pela produção, conheço pessoalmente a guria com quem conversava por telefone. Ela me conduziu até o local de trabalho: imaginem um ambiente de trabalho comum, com mesas de escritório e computadores, mas com o logo do programa em destaque na parede, alguns instrumentos musicais numa caixa e um pessoal pra lá de descontraído! Não demorou muito, fui me sentindo mais à vontade. 

  Um cara me perguntou que mangá eu curto. Nisso, comentei aqueles que leio atualmente: One Piece e Bleach. Ele afirmava que eu não sou tão nerd, eu só curto mangá modinha, que deveria curtir Naruto - ou seja, ir de acordo com o gosto DELE. Para provar minha nerdice, mostrei a ele a minha última edição de One Piece. Ele não se impressionou muito, até que eu argumentei que estava em japonês e aí foi motivo do povo todo tirar um barato com a cara dele. 

  Em seguida, apareceu uma estagiária simpática a qual me chamou para uma sala para gravar uma entrevista. Foi algo bem simples: ela estava com uma câmera na mão e eu comecei a falar meu nome, o curso que fiz, o cargo do meu trabalho e dizer os meus gostos. Evidentemente declarei meu gosto de artes e da minha prática esportiva. Terminei a gravação e a guria concluiu: "Mas você não é tão nerd assim. Aliás, é o menos nerd de todos com quem eu falei! As únicas coisas que você tem de nerd seria ler mangá, ter um blog e gostar de tênis feminino!" 

  Eu revelei outras coisas que são do meu interesse, o que me fez voltar para a sala e gravar mais um take. Desta vez baixou o meu lado teatral e resolvi fazer uma voz de veludo estilo radialista, uma cara mais cômica, afirmando: "A propósito... Eu tinha esquecido de falar pontos relevantes sobre a minha pessoa!" Mostrei que adoro mangás, o que foi uma brecha para ler um trecho em japonês. Enquanto isso, a estagiária não segurava mais o riso, sem deixar de me lembrar outras coisas que eu deveria citar. Contei que já fiz cosplay do protagonista do One Piece, sobre gostar de aprender novas línguas, citei até a exposição do David Bowie no MIS, que gostaria de visitar. 

  Saímos da sala e ao abordar a moça que me telefonou, a guria disse rindo: "ele é meio ator!" Ainda deu tempo para eu mostrar meus desenhos e minha foto na maratona, que gerou a seguinte reação: "Isso já é mais do que gostar de esporte. Isso é superação!" A impressão que elas tiveram de mim, transcrevendo exatamente as palavras que elas usaram: "hipercomunicativo" e "nada tímido"! Já que eu não tinha chance de ser escolhido, indiquei um amigo - um verdadeiro Sheldon do The Big Bang Theory - que por sinal, ao exibir as fotos dele via Facebook, elas concluíram: "esse sim é um nerd que podemos mudar!" 

  Quase me despedindo do pessoal, lancei em alto e bom som: "Deve ser sempre divertido trabalhar aqui!" Por um momento eu escutei um sonoro "Maaaais ou meeeenos, maaais ou meeenos..." que foi diminuindo o volume, provavelmente por perceberem que havia chefe no local. A estagiária me acompanhou até a saída e eu ainda sugeri que poderiam me arrumar uma aparição em um outro programa. Claro que ela negou. Voltei para casa trazido pela equipe da emissora, um pouco chateado por não ser nerd o bastante para participar do programa; porém feliz por ser tão espontâneo, tão comunicativo e sobretudo por ter me divertido tanto em tão pouco tempo com um pessoal que não conhecia!

  In a day which I didn't expect anything, I got a message from my cousin. She asked me my cell number in order to receive a call to take part in a TV show. Her boyfriend would participate; however, he had an appointment that time; so she suggested I was in his place. I thought this idea somewhat unique - even because I don't use to watch this show - I accepted straightaway!

  The girl on telefone was quite welcoming and we arrange that I go to the TV station next day, after my working hours. I just knew they wanted a nerd to record a reality show and they were doing tests for this. I was curious and anxious to know what would happen in this event. By arriving in the place with taxi paid by TV production, I met personally the girl who I have talked by phone. She took me to her work place: imagine a common environment to work, with office desks and computers, but with show's logo in highlights on the wall, some musical instruments in a box and a very laid-back people! Not long time, I was feeling more relaxed. 

  A guy asked me which Manga I like. I commented those I read nowadays: One Piece and Bleach. He affirmed I'm not so nerd, I just read famous Mangas, I should enjoy Naruto - in other words, according to HIS TASTE. To proof that I'm nerd, I showed him my One Piece's last edition. He hadn't impressed so much, until I argued the Manga's in Japanese - that was the reason to all the people mock him.  

  After, appear a sympathetic intern girl who called me into a room for record a interview. It was really simple thing: she had a camera in her hand and I started to say my name, my graduation course, my work role and my hobbies. Obviously I declared my taste for arts and my sports practice. Finishing the recording, she concluded: "But you're not so nerd. Moreover, you're the least nerd of all the guys I've talked! The only features you have that I can call you a nerd would be read Manga, have a blog and you like to watch Women's Tennis!"

  I revealed more things that I'm interested, what makes me come back to room and record one more take. This time I applied my theatrical skills and I decided to make a velvet voice like a radio DJ, a comical face, asserting: "By the way... I had forgot to mention relevant point about myself!" I showed I love Mangas, so I read in Japanese. Meanwhile, intern girl couldn't hold back the laugh, remember me other things I should say. I stated I made a cosplay based on One Piece's main character, about my interest to learn new languages; I informed even the David Bowie exhibition, that I would like to visit.

  We got out the room and when she approaches the girl who called me, intern girl said giggling: "he's kinda actor!" I got time enough to show my drawings and my picture on marathon, so they got the following reaction: "This is more than just like sports. This is overcome!" The impression they got about me, transcribing exactly the words they used: "hiper sociable" and "venturous"! Since I wouldn't be chosen, I designated a friend - this one a real Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory - what, incidentally, by showing them his pictures on Facebook, they concluded: this is a good example of nerd we can change!"

  Almost saying goodbye to all the people, I related in a loud voice: "It should be always funny work here!" For a moment I listen clearly a "So-so, so-so..." which it was decreasing the volume, probably noticing there was some boss on place. Intern girl escort me to the exit and I demand that they could give me a participation in another program. Of course she denied my request. I came back to house brought by TV station's team, a little upset for not being nerd enough to take part of the show; yet I was happy for being so spontaneous, so catching and mostly I have amused myself in a few time with people I didn't know!
