Este clipe possuí duas versões: uma é esta que eu escolhi e a outra vai no comentário. Apesar das semelhanças, repare nas vestimentas do vocalista nas duas versões.
"From Out of Nowhere" tem covers de bandas como Apocalyptica, Helloween, Raunchy e Five Finger Death Punch. Adoro quando ele diz "goodbye" no final desta música.

Despite similarities, you can notice the difference of singer's clothes. "From Out Of Nowhere" have band covers such as Apocalyptica, Helloween, Raunchy and Five Finger Death Punch. I love when he say "goodbye" in this tune in the end.

  Como muitos dos brasileiros, o primeiro esporte que comecei a praticar foi o futebol. Prática essa que veio da época da infância e continuo hoje em dia. É algo que eu sempre gostei de fazer e em qualquer lugar por onde passei.

  A decisão de qual time torcer veio de família: meu pai era corintiano, mas nunca gostou muito de futebol; por outro lado, meu tio me comprou a primeira camisa e um álbum de figurinhas do São Paulo. No Brasil, sou Tricolor Paulista, no país da rainha sou Gunner e no Japão eu costumava torcer para o Tokyo Verdy: sabe como é, foi a época da vinda de brasileiros no futebol nipônico, entre eles Ruy Ramos, Alcindo e Zico. O Verdy fazia muito sucesso com seu jogador mais promissor: Kazuyoshi Miura.

  Eu nunca fui um atleta na escola: era um dos últimos a ser escolhido nos times. Uma vez teve um campeonato em que, como alguns garotos tinham faltado na sala, me chamaram por falta de opção. Não atrapalhei muito e o jogo estava equilibradíssimo: 2 a 1 para nosso time, até que o time adversário conseguiu o empate. Com o tempo se esgotando, o pessoal do meu time me disse: "agora você vai chutar a bola direto pro gol do meio da quadra!"

  Eu, com aqueeeeeeeela insegurança, me sentindo pressionado pela responsabilidade atribuída mas com aquele ímpeto de ajudar a equipe, mirei a bola e chutei. E a bola subiu, subiu, subiu...muito! Aquele momento em que todos ficam calados acompanhando a trajetória da bola, girando no alto... Então ela resolve descer... lentamente... e o goleiro perde o timing de pegá-la no alto e vai direto para a gaveta!!! Foi um grito de alegria e de euforia, pois também não me aguentava de rir! Sim, ganhamos com o meu gol! Hahahaha!
 
  Costumávamos jogar bola todos os dias após as aulas. Na época da copa era bem legal: assistíamos aos jogos em casa e em seguida, íamos jogar - com direito à imitação do hino francês: "Allors enfants de la Patrie, le jour de gloire est arrivé!" Já joguei futebol até na igreja: há um estacionamento com golzinhos, propício para a diversão - menos nos dias de missa.

  Não gosto de participar de campeonatos de empresa: sempre tem um sem noção que quer ganhar a todo custo. Não me lembro como, mas formamos um grupo e nos reuníamos num society em São Paulo. Coincidiu com a época que eu fazia natação, então estava com a resistência física muito boa, tanto que me rendeu um apelido: "filho do vento". Meu gol mais marcante começou na zaga: eu roubei a bola de um atacante, toquei para um colega e nesse meio tempo corri para a frente; ao estar perto do goleiro, a bola veio no meu pé e caixa! Ao voltar para o meu campo, ainda ouvi: "Ué, como é que você tava na zaga e já tá aqui agora?" Hehehe.

  Atualmente jogo bola aos domingos em um society. Já faz mais de um ano que estou junto com esse pessoal e vira e mexe ouço coisas como "esse moleque aprendeu a jogar bola com a gente!" Devo ter aprendido a jogar melhor sim, assim como aprendi a me impôr na quadra: reclama comigo que se eu achar que está errado, com certeza vou me manifestar. Claro, tem hora que erro o toque, acerto a canela alheia sem querer. Mesmo assim, me divirto muito! Contudo, eu não fico na banheira. A propósito, o povo sofre para me marcar: eu percorro a quadra inteira o tempo todo. Ajudo na zaga, tem momentos em que "sou garçom" e como há aqueles que não confiam nas minhas jogadas, acabo sobrando ao lado do goleiro. Nisso, o pessoal do meu time me manda a bola. Eu não sou um jogador fora do comum, mas eu crio oportunidades para balançar a rede.

  As many Brazillians, the first sport I've started to play was football. This practice comes from childhood and still in activity nowadays. It's something I always like to do and every place where I live in.

  The decision of which team I would support comes from family: my father supported Corinthians, however he'd never liked football so much; on the other hand, my uncle bought me my first São Paulo T-shirt and a sticker album. I support São Paulo Futebol Clube in Brazil, Arsenal in England and I used to support Tokyo Verdy in Japan: it was the same time that Brazillian footballers appears to play in J-League, among then Ruy Ramos, Alcindo and Zico. Verdy made lots of success with their best player that time: Kazuyoshi Miura.

  When I was at school, I've never been an athlete: I was one of the last guys to be picked up in order to form teams. Once, there was a championship which some boys were absent, so they called me due to lack of option. I didn't cause many trouble and game was quite balanced: 2 to 1 for our team, then our adversary reached the draw. As time was running out, team mates told me: "Now you have to kick the ball straight to the goal from the middle of court!"

  I was very insecure, feeling myself under pressure because of assigned responsibility but with a lot of rush to help my side, aimed the ball and kicked it. Then the ball rose... a lot! That instant when everybody was speechless following the path of ball, spinning on top... Until the ball began to fall... slowly... and goalkeeper lost timing to catch it and ball goes straight to the goal!!! I was absolutely delighted, because also I almost died laughing! We won with my goal! Hahaha!!!

  We used to play football everyday after the class. At the World Cup time was very cool: we watched games together and after, we were going to play - imitating anthem of France: "Allors enfants de la Patrie, le jour de gloire est arrivé!" I played football even in church: there is a parking with mini goals, ideal to our fun - except in days of congregation.

  I don't like to take part in enterprise's football championships: always have some guy who wants to win every game at all costs. I don't remember how, but we formed a group which we gathered on a soccer field in São paulo. Coincided with the time when I was swimming, I had a great stamina, which earned me a nickname: son of wind. The most memorable goal started from my side's defense: I stole the ball from a striker, passed it to a mate and then I run; when I was near from goalkeeper, ball comes to my feet and goal! Soon I heard: "How were you on defense and you are here now?"

   I play football every Sunday nowadays. It was more than a year I'm together with this people and several times I listen things like "this guy learned to play football with us!" I should have learned to play better, and I learned to impose myself on field as well: if you claim to me and I feel you're wrong, certainly I'm not going to be quiet. Off course occasionally I miss the pass or I hit some shin with no intention. Nevertheless, I have so much fun! Despite, I didn't stay around goalkeeper all the time. By the way, people suffer to mark me: I run the whole field all the time. I help on defense, there are moments when I'm a midfielder and as there are some players who don't trust in my techniques, I use to be free near from goal. My team sends me the ball afterwards. I'm not a fantastic player: I just create opportunities to balance the opposing net.

Especial Faith No More - The Real Thing. Era uma vez uma banda californiana bastante promissora, com um talento inato, a fim de fazer um som diferente dos demais grupos daquela época. Havia apenas um problema: tinha uma dificuldade em firmar um vocalista. O vocal dos dois primeiros álbuns era um tanto quanto insosso, insípido, s/ graça. Até que a banda se tocou, e trocou Chuck Mosley por um tal de Mike Patton. O resultado foi "The Real Thing", um dos maiores sucessos do Faith No More.

There was just one problem: they had some difficulty to steady a singer. The singer of their first two albuns was wishy-washy, tasteless, clumsy. Then the band noticed it and replaced Chuck Mosley by a guy called Mike Patton. Result was "The Real Thing", one of the biggest success by Faith No More.

  Um dos sonhos mais clássicos que tive e que as pessoas costumam ter é sonhar com uma voz doce te dizendo: "Você pode realizar todos os seus sonhos." Não há mais nada além da voz: é uma completa escuridão. Você fica na expectativa da continuação, se há uma próxima frase, algum aconselhamento que te auxilie neste devaneio, até que o sonho acaba, você acorda e rola aquela quebra de clímax.

  Recentemente, fui convidado para uma festa de final de ano organizado pela minha ex-professora de inglês, Paula. Como eu a chamo carinhosamente de "Braba", eu nomeei o evento de "Braba Fest". Diria que é uma confraternização em um pub dos alunos dela e da Cris, que também é professora. Particularmente falando, eu gosto bastante do Braba Fest: não só pelo motivo de que se eu não for, ela fica "braba" comigo, mas é uma oportunidade de conhecer novas pessoas, às vezes até estrangeiros, praticar um pouco de speaking além de tomar ótimas cervejas e matar a saudade da Braba. Ah, rola sorteio de presentes e ainda ganhei cupcakes deliciosos!

  Na segunda edição que eu participei do Braba Fest, quem me surpreendeu foi a Cris. Na primeira vez, quase não falei com ela; apenas pensei: que professora bonita a amiga da Braba. Mas até aí, nada demais. Até que desta vez ao conversar com ela, concluí: que mulher bondosa! Tal como a expressão facial, era como se ela escolhesse a dedo cada palavra para transmitir tamanho afeto! Ela é naturalmente gentil, o que a torna muito cativante!

  Ao me despedir da Cris, ela me perguntou:
- "Você tem muitas ambições?"
- "Eu sou uma pessoa de poucas ambições."
- "É melhor que seja assim mesmo... de poucas ambições. Eu desejo que suas poucas ambições se realizem no ano que vem!"

  Quando ela disse esta última frase, senti que de fato desejou isso do âmago dela; algo era diferente: a respiração, talvez a voz um pouco trêmula, o olhar. Ou talvez foi a imaginação de um semi ébrio de saída do pub. Eu senti também que, por algum motivo, as palavras dela tinham algum tipo de poder.

  Logo me lembrei do sonho: me senti como seria se eu pudesse ver quem me direcionava aquela frase. Sei que não eram as mesmas palavras, mas ambas me serviram como um incentivo. Fiquei com aquele momento na cabeça, até que eu vi uma foto da Cris e me inspirou para um próximo desenho.

  Inicialmente, pensei em mangás estilo da Clamp (grupo de desenhistas de mangá conhecidos por seus personagens com ricos detalhes em seus figurinos e ilustrações belíssimas). Ao colocar a idéia no papel, senti que poderia ser a primeira pessoa que eu faria uma versão em desenho japonês. É um desafio e tanto criar um desenho que passe a mesma comoção ao ver o sorriso de alguém.

  Volto a aplicar as emoções para criar os efeitos especiais em torno da personagem. Se é para fazer um mangá, é interessante ter um quê de mágico, de energia, de aura... Optei em círculos com a finalidade de mostrar uma energia que flui através de movimentos circulares, como os movimentos adotados na prática do Tai Chi Chuan. Acredito que foi a melhor maneira para retratar uma pessoa que é calma, gentil e carinhosa.

  Eu não costumo desenhar pessoas ao acaso. É difícil de eu atender a pedidos, tem que ser algo por iniciativa própria. E essa pessoa tem que ter alguma característica marcante, alguma atitude original, que me desperte algum sentimento. Feliz é a Braba de ter uma amiga como a Cris por perto!

  Um ano novo fantástico para todos e que nossos sonhos/ambições/desejos se realizem!!!

  One of the most classic dreams I had and also people use to have is to dream of a sweet voice saying: "You may achieve all of your dreams." There's nothing beyond the voice: it's a complete darkness. You linger on expectation of a sequence, if there's a next phrase, some advice which help you on this wandering, until the dream's over, you wake up and then, breaking climax.

  Recently, I was invited to an end of year party organised by my former English teacher, Paula. Since I call her  affectionately "Braba" (means "angry" in Portuguese), I named this event as "Braba Fest". I would say this is a fraternization in a pub with her students and Cris' students,who also is teacher. Personally speaking, I enjoy a lot Braba Fest: it's not just for the reason that if I don't go, she becomes "braba" with me, but it's an opportunity to know new people, sometimes even foreigners, to practice a little of speaking as well as drink great beers together with Braba. In addition to this, there's a game of chance and I got delicious cupcakes!

  In the second edition I took part of Braba Fest, who amazed me was Cris. First time I almost didn't talk to her; I just thought: what a beautiful teacher is Braba's friend. But then, nothing unusual. When I was talking to her, soon I concluded: what a kind-hearted woman! As her facial expression, seemed like she chooses any word to transmit such tenderness. She's naturally delightful, what makes her very captivating!

  Before I said "See ya!", she had asked me:
- "Do you have many ambitions?"
- "I'm a person with few ambitions."
- "It's better to be like that... with few ambitions. I wish your few ambitions come to reality next year!"

When she said this last phrase, I felt she wished this from the bottom of her heart indeed; something was different: her breathing, maybe the voice was a little trembling, her way of look at me. Or maybe it's just an imagination of an almost drunken boy leaving the place. Furthermore, I felt that, for some reason, her words had some kind of power.

  Instantly I remembered of my dream: I felt how it would be if I could see who drove me that saying. I know they're not the same words, but both served me as a fuel. I stuck with that moment in my head, up to I saw Cris' picture which inspired me to a next drawing.

  Firstly, I though in Japanese comics such as Clamp's style (a group of manga artists, recognized by their features with rich details in their clothes and beautiful illustrations). When I started to put the idea on paper, I sensed it may be the first person I would create a version in Japanese comics. It's a tough task to create a draw which is able to pass the same commotion someone would send it with a smile.

  I went back to explore emotions to make special effects around the character. If it's in order to make a manga, it's interesting to have a touch of magic, energy, aura... I chose circles forms, trying to show a energy which flows through circular movements, like Tai Chi Chuan's moves. I believe it's best way to portray a calm, kind and loving person.

  I don't use to draw people randomly. I don´t like to attend requests; it must be something by my own decision. Moreover, this person needs to have some highlighted feature, some original attitude, which wakes me up a feeling. Braba is a happy person having Cris as friend by her side!

  A fantastic New Year for everyone and all our dreams/ambitions/wishes come true!!! Cheers!!!
